  • Yes, we have electronic entry for the property and the lodge, the codes will be sent to you in advance of your arrival so that you can enter at your leisure.

  • Yes, to use the hoist you will require your own sling and personal attachments. An instructional video will be linked in your arrival email 7 days before you check in.

  • Yes, we will ensure that a cot is placed in the lodge for you in the main bedroom unless you specify a different location.

  • Yes, we have a local chef with excellent reviews. Please contact us if you would like their details, their website is also linked at the bottom of our homepage.

  • The maximum number of people allowed in the lodge is 12. Only those guests named on the booking form may stay overnight.

  • Yes, WiFi is included in the booking fee.

  • 21 days is the longest single rental agreement. This is a condition of our planning permission.

  • Please contact us to discuss. The lodge requires 3 hours of cleaning to ensure it ready for each customer.

  • Yes, we have a breakage deposit of £300. This may seem high but is necessary given the high cost and provision of such specialist equipment.

  • The lodge is powered and heated from electricity only. 100 KwH per week is included in the charge, anything over this will be charged at the standard provider rate of the day.

  • Yes, please request this when you place your booking. The charger will require you to bring your own tethering cable. Please let us know if you do not have one and you will be able to lease a type 2 cable.

  • Yes, we accept no liability for personal accident or you being unable to travel. If you must cancel, then you may receive a partial refund depending upon how far in advance you are able to cancel.

  • All cancellations must be notified in writing, including via email. The notice given by you in cancellation will determine how much you will be refunded.

    3 weeks or less notice – No refund due

    5 weeks or less notice – 10% of the total accommodation cost refunded

    7 weeks or less notice – 20% of the total accommodation cost refunded

    9 weeks or less notice – 40% of the total accommodation cost refunded

    More than 9 weeks notice – your liability to pay the balance will be waived, however, the Deposit will not be refunded.

    The Deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances when you cancel a booking. If a refund is due, we will aim to return the applicable amount within 10 working days of cancellation.
