Care and respite stays
Since opening, Mountain Lodge and Coastal Cottage (and soon to be Woodland House) have provided exceptional respite stays for guests with urgent and complex needs, particularly during times when their own homes are being adapted or when essential equipment is being repaired or replaced. In these circumstances, the properties offer not simply accommodation, but comfort, reassurance and continuity at moments when it matters most.
The properties have also welcomed children’s and adults’ care homes seeking a safe, restorative break from routine environments. While carers may understandably arrive with concerns about managing outside their usual setting, these are consistently replaced by confidence and relief upon arrival, as the quality of the accommodation, thoughtful design and outstanding accessibility become immediately clear. The result is an experience that supports not only practical needs, but also dignity, wellbeing and genuine peace of mind.
We are able to provide evidence of LOLA testing and public liability insurance, together with support video walkthroughs and site visits, to assist with the completion of any required risk assessments. Our aim is to ensure that care providers, organisations and supporting professionals have the information and reassurance they need to assess the suitability of the property with confidence.
