Disabled Access Holiday Cottages
Mountain Lodge and Coastal Cottage opened for guests in December. However, the journey does not end there, please follow this page for updates and continual improvements as they happen.
Woodland House opering Early Summer 2027
We're delighted to share some exciting news from Lower Laurel Farm. This October, construction will commence on Woodland House — a thoughtfully designed retreat marking the next chapter in our commitment to inclusive countryside hospitality.
Set within its own paddock, Woodland House will be a beautifully secluded haven offering the same first-class accessibility guests have come to expect — and more. The property will benefit from dedicated access, private gardens, and a fully accessible hot tub, where guests can fully unwind in comfort.
Flexible Accommodation for Every Kind of Stay
Woodland House has been conceived with genuine flexibility at its core. The property may be configured as a single six-bedroom retreat — ideal for larger family gatherings, group stays, or respite breaks. Alternatively, it can be let separately as a four-bed and two-bed, allowing two parties to enjoy their own private space. This dual-configuration means Woodland House can welcome groups, multi-generational families, and individual bookings with equal ease.
Accessibility at Its Heart
Continuing the standards already exemplified within Coastal Cottage and Mountain Lodge, Woodland House will provide three fully accessible bedrooms complete with hoists. These rooms have been carefully designed to offer comfort, dignity, and ease of movement for guests with a wide range of physical access requirements. A further three luxurious bedrooms will cater comfortably for family and carers travelling alongside guests — recognising that the very best stays are those shared with the people who matter most. Woodland House also goes a meaningful step further: in addition to its physical accessibility features, it has been thoughtfully designed with neurodivergent guests in mind, with calming palettes, considered lighting, and sensory-friendly environments throughout.
Welcome to Lower Laurel Farm
Being able to plan time away with friends and family is so important hence bookings are open prior to completion of the construction of Mountain Lodge and Coastal Cottage. Rest assured the excellent team of builders and tradesmen are beavering away on site, confident that they will hit their deadline, allowing you to be able to have a unique and relaxing stay from 3rd December 2022.
That said, if the build is completed earlier than scheduled we will add those weeks onto the site as soon as we become aware. The current discounted rate will be applied to all bookings that commence prior to 17th December 2022.
